UK2 web hosting good or bad


I have been a customer of UK2 for 3 years during this time I have put up with their email server going into melt down, server down time and an array of other problems.

To be fair when things are going well they provide an excellent service, there up time is also good.

Like a lot of companies they would be excellent if only they could sort out there technical support, like a lot of companies focused on the volume end of the market they rapidly forget the importance of the customer.

This is remarkable as the other half of the company the marketing department spends an enormous amount of time bombarding you with emails about their latest product offering.

They used to offer me a call back service for an additional monthly cost only they discontinued this for my product, no warning just disappeared though they did stop charging me for the service. The service was never that sharp you would drop them an email they were supposed to call you back, sometimes they did some times they did not, when they did I can honestly say they were excellent.

Now I am faced with filling in a service ticket and at some point you get an abrupt email telling you it is all your fault or it is not our problem or we have passed that on to our second tier team, after multiple emails when you are desperate you hope that the problem has solved itself.

It was better when Ditlev Bredahl was CEO as you could always email him with your problem and you knew they would be resolved, this is not possible with the new CEO as he is not so free with his email address. It is not surprising the level of customer service is so terrible as everyone takes their lead from the top.

If I had one recommendation for UK2 it would be spend a little less on marketing and a little more on customer service and support, value your customers, you will not only keep more you will win more.
